Solarshop is a company in the renewable energy sector, a sector leader in the distribution of solar photovoltaic material since 2011. It is a dynamic young company that is constantly growing and is looking to expand its purchasing and logistics department.
The Procurement Specialist will provide transversal support to all our business areas, working closely with the Administration, Commercial and Finance teams, with the aim of achieving competitive advantage through the best purchasing management practices and boosting the overall profitability of the business. The main objective is to ensure service and forecast management of purchases, in order to guarantee stocks at competitive and constant prices. You will also be responsible for logistics coordination, ensuring and negotiating agreements and deadlines with carriers, freight forwarders and distributors.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire and guarantee stock of solar equipment from global suppliers.
- Established and existing networks and working partnerships with key suppliers.
- Maintain the integrity of purchase data on high-level executions with error-free transactions.
- "Day-to-day" involvement in all purchasing activity within the company to ensure management, both in terms of service efficiency and the achievement of commercial objectives.
- Negotiating conditions and agreements with various types of suppliers of goods and services.
- Initiate an effective improvement and cost-saving program for the components purchased.
- Logistic management.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of sources, prices and techniques on a global scale.
- Adhere to accounting rules and procedures regarding the purchasing process.
- Manage the supplier's delivery performance.
- Prevent and proactively manage supplier defects with each of its suppliers.
SKILLS WE VALUE:
- Degree in higher education
- More than 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Effective ability to participate in teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to assess and set priorities for oneself and others, demonstrate flexibility and understand/communicate a sense of urgency
- Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving skills and proven decision-making ability
- Proactive initiative profile
- Mastery of office tools and knowledge of CRM tools

- Fluency in spoken and written English (mandatory), optionally Spanish.
