Interview with André Pedro, Manager of SolarShop, about the Genera Fair in Madrid.

André, what is the reason for SolarShop's presence?

- We decided to attend the Genera trade fair in Madrid, firstly to cement our commercial and trusting relationships with all our customers and partners. The second reason for our presence was to gain a greater presence in the national and Iberian markets.

Does it make sense for SolarShop to be present at this kind of event?

- Solarshop's presence at these important events makes perfect sense. Over the course of its almost 12-year history, Solarshop has positioned itself as a benchmark in the PV sector in Portugal, and since there is a greater influx of Portuguese visitors at Genera, it made perfect sense for us to be present. I can also tell you that we will be attending more events and fairs in the sector, as long as they are focused on the Portuguese and Iberian markets in general.

How was the connection and contact with customers and partner brands?

- The interaction and feedback couldn't have been better. We were delighted to see a special sparkle in many of our customers' eyes when they entered our stand. Why? Because it was only possible for us to be there for them, because without them we wouldn't be what we are and we wouldn't be where we are, so this "victory" is as much ours as it is theirs and we have to dedicate a word of thanks to all of them.

What was it like meeting and interacting with new clients and brands?

- It's always fascinating and enjoyable. Meeting new people, being able to establish new relationships, both commercial and, above all, personal, because that's one of our hallmarks: treating all our customers in the same way, regardless of their consumption capacity. This has meant that over the years, many customers have also become long-term friends.

That's what we're aiming for at all times: solid, lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.

What was your overall assessment of the event?

- A spectacular event and excellent organization, which has been improving year after year. This is reflected in the fact that, for the first time, two pavilions were needed to accommodate all the participants, thus breaking the attendance record as well as the visitor record.

Will SolarShop be present again at GENERA?

- SolarShop will undoubtedly be present again at the 2024 edition.

After this fantastic participation, can we expect SolarShop to go international?

- Internationalization is always on the horizon in the short term. We want to continue to focus mainly on the domestic market, where we are well known for the quality of our service and technical support, so it only makes sense to go international when we can replicate the same processes across borders.

Would you like to say a special thank you?

- First of all, we would like to thank all our employees who worked so hard to make the event a success, as it turned out to be.

A special thank you to all the people who visited us, clients, partners and friends, who gave us some of their time and finally to Mrs. Amália from IFEMA, the organizer of Genera, who was always ready to help us, whatever the subject.

To all of them, our most sincere thanks.

See you again in 2024.

Until then, thank you all!

It was with the words of thanks from André Pedro, manager of SolarShop, that this interview ended, as part of the company's presence in Madrid.

As André mentioned, this was SolarShop's first participation in fairs and events and it couldn't have been more remarkable. The company made its mark at the International Energy and Environment Fair with a large and conspicuous stand, full of products and partner brands, in a welcoming and undoubtedly Portuguese atmosphere.

SolarShop has stood out from the competition and is now a company on the rise in the photovoltaic sector and clearly in constant growth.

There's no doubt about it, SolarShop will be a name heard by everyone on the Iberian Peninsula in the near future! SolarShop, será um nome ouvido por toda a população da Península Ibérica no futuro próximo!
